I’m not a doctor, I don’t see people in an office when they are not feeling well, I don’t offer a prescription to somebody when they say they have an ache or something hurts. I didn’t study for years to learn medical terms and I most certainly do not have any credentials that would lead anybody to believe that I was a doctor. That said, I really think the Hippocratic oath that all doctors must swear to, is relative to living in general.
I’m a life coach, I work with women over 50 who find themselves in transition and are looking for meaningful relationships in all areas of their lives: spiritual, health and wellness, career, financial: women who are finally looking ahead with joy, empowerment, excitement, fulfillment.
Women who are finally ready to take their own Hippocratic oath and say “first do no harm” for all of their relationships.
When we’re little children we don’t have the capability to do harm to ourselves and yet, somewhere along the way the choices change: eating too much, eating too little, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, obesity, prescription drugs, stress, driving too fast, not making safe choices: more like a hypocratic oath to our higher self if you ask me.
I’m not a doctor but I surely do know that no matter where you find yourself right now it was a choice to end up there. Life may have handed you a rough road and you may be wondering what you did to deserve the treatment you got but it doesn’t matter really.
In the spirit of “first do no harm” I suggest you let it go, offer forgiveness and move on to something beautiful and fulfilling, you deserve it, it’s your time!
