I listened to the song “because of you” this morning by Kelly Clarkson. She’s a beautiful singer and she certainly has done well since her time on American Idol but, I have to tell you, I’m hoping this song isn’t really the truth for her.
My perspective, this song is a song for people who are stuck: people who want to make a choice to stay stuck in the muck, who don’t know how to move forward from their pain. You can read the lyrics here and, fyi, I did not write them out so forgive the spelling errors please.
I sure hope she puts out another song talking about moving on, being fearless, making the change despite all the problems she’ll encounter when she does…I look forward to that song!
